I chose six of my silhouettes to draw roughs out of, including the different interpretations of the sloth, with some being more obvious than the other.
I quite liked how all of them turned out, though I wasn’t sure which one I would pick to refine. There are some that I enjoyed drawing and would like to develop, though its symbolism as the sloth wasn’t as clear as the other. The one that seemed most closely inspired by the sloth also didn’t seem like it could be developed into four different refine line arts.

In the end, I went with the rough that was chosen for me, being a hunched character that was rooted down to the ground.
I wasn’t very sure how I could vary the design without completely changing the silhouette so these appear quite similar.
