BRIEF
Your task will be to generate ideas and create ‘One of the 7 Deadly Sins’ of your choice. There is a vast amount of research out there, showing different styles and takes on this topic so please explore multiple avenues of design.
You will create a character design sheet that will consist of the entire design process from Research to Final Design. You are required to source multiple avenues of research and design and create supporting materials which consists of a mood board, early sketch and concept design and character architypes.
You will be presenting your character design to the class at the end of the rotation. The emphasis in this project is on developing your ability to collect reference, and use them to generate ideas in order to develop a character design.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A mood board with a mix of references that help shape the direction of your character
- A character development outlining descriptive information about the character including the character architype
- Developmental sketch work showing thought process and iteration en route to your final design
- A final Character Design sheet showing off your finished character
